Calendar of Events

Power of the Purse® 2024 is a large purse and jewelry sale event which raises thousands of dollars each year to provide nutritious meals, companionship, and safety checks to 1,100 homebound seniors across Knox County. This event has huge deals on hundreds of beautiful bags at a wide range of prices. The event also features a delicious dinner, amazing auction packages, and a Jewelry Corner with items for sale to accessorize any occasion. All proceeds will benefit Knox County Mobile Meals.

Ticket price includes:
Light dinner fare
One drink ticket per person
Entrance into the Purse Madness Sale Room
Cash bar available

ABOUT MOBILE MEALS
Mobile Meals serves nutritious noon-time meals to 1,100 homebound Knox County seniors each weekday. As the amount received from many funding sources is declining, the number of seniors needing services from Mobile Meals is growing. The funds raised by Power of the Purse help the program continue to serve more older adults in every zip code in Knox County.
