Ijams Nature Center: "Shine On" Benefit Helps Hurricane Helene Victims

Help us help others during a time of need! Come out Tuesday, Oct. 8, for Shine On, a variety show benefiting East Tennesseans affected by Hurricane Helene. This event is free, but donations will be collected, and ALL the money raised will go to East Tennessee Foundation's Neighbor to Neighbor Disaster Relief Fund.

The show, hosted by Beth Thompkins, features performances by musicians Adeem the Artist and BenderKills, as well as comedians Brandi Augustus, Alex Stokes, Gail Grantham, and Lena Allison, plus juggling by Doug the Juggler!

McClung Museum: Monty's Craft Circle (Tuesdays)

Trollkretsen Scandinavian Dancers

Join the Trollkretsen dancers weekly to learn traditional Scandinavian dances! All ages are welcome and no prior knowledge is required to participate, just a willingness to learn. Experts will be present to teach every night from 7pm to 9pm to convene their own exciting take on the ancestral dance.
