Join us for our September offering of our “Beyond Petticoats” series - "Matriarchs, War Women, and Entrepreneurs: Cherokee Women in the 18th Century Colonial World." Beginning at 11:00 am, Casey Price, a Ph.D. candidate from the University of Tennessee, will explore the powerful roles of Cherokee women in their matrilineal society.
