Mighty Mud: YART Sale

Mighty_Mud.jpg

Category: Festivals, special events

Amy the "Yankee" would call it a lawn fete, others might call it a swap meet. You can call it whatever you want, but we're calling it a YART Sale. Most artists seem to be known to collect things that maybe one day could possibly be useful for an art project. But now its time to put some of these things to use. Mighty Mud is going to host our first annual YART Sale and Swap on Saturday, May 2nd. It is a yard sale for artists. It will be a day to sell (or swap) art supplies that you no longer need , "seconds" of your original artwork that you want to get rid of, or any other interesting junk that you think another artist might want. Its a great green way to get rid of things that you no longer need, and hopefully find some great deals on art related stuff. This should be a fun day! We hope that you will stop by that day and hunt for the best bargains.

If you are interested in selling your unwanted art supplies during the YART sale, we are taking reservations. For $10 we'll reserve a space for you to sell all your stuff, and we'll throw in some coffee and donuts. It's a great opportunity to brush up those bartering skills and do some spring cleaning!
