On December 31, 2024, celebrate New Years Eve at the Sunsphere. Bring in 2025 with your friends and family at World's Fair Park with food trucks, free activities including a silent disco at 9:00pm, DJ music with Knox Vegas DJs on the main stage starting at 9pm, live music with Mikki Norwood Band starting at 10:00pm-11:55pm with the Ball drop from the Sunsphere at Midnight.

Plan an evening enjoying the lights and restaurants in Downtown Knoxville, ice skating at Holidays on Ice will be open until 9pm and then take the short walk over to World's Fair Park to continue your evening celebrating the start of a new year!

This is a rain or shine event. Please feel free to bring chairs; however tents and canopies are not allowed. This is an alcohol free family friendly event.

Ring in 2025! Get ready to groove your way into the new year at RSE’s New Year’s Eve Disco Dance Party, happening at Regas Square (333 West Depot Avenue). From 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM, join us downtown for an unforgettable night of music, dancing, and celebration.

Our DJ will be spinning everyone’s favorite dance hits from across the decades, and yes, requests are welcome! Enjoy a cash bar featuring specialty cocktails, a selection of small bites to share, and wall screens showcasing the big countdown along with additional entertainment. Ring in the New Year at the Silent Disco at Pretentious Beer Co. This 21+ event promises an unforgettable evening filled with music, dancing, and great craft beer. Born & Raised Productions is pulling out all the stops to make this celebration one for the books.

The event kicks off at 9 PM on December 31, 2024, and runs until 1:30 AM on January 1, 2025. Guests will enjoy an immersive music experience with multiple DJs spinning tracks across three channels, each accessible through headphones, allowing everyone to groove to their preferred vibe.

Hosted at Pretentious Beer Co., located at 131 South Central Street in Knoxville, the event features a limited capacity and a finite number of headphones, making tickets essential. Priced at $20, these tickets sell out every year, so secure yours early to avoid missing out.

We are joining Knoxville Kwanzaa Collective and SpaceCraft in hosting the 6th Day of Kwanzaa with a Kuumba Jam!
Kuumba is a Swahili word that means "creativity" and is the sixth principle of Kwanzaa. The day is all about using your creative energy to improve the community and yourself. To honor that, we are providing time and space to create!

• 8:30pm-9:30pm Music + Crafts
• 9:30pm Open Mic + Dance
• 11:30pm Preparing for the New Year Countdown

Whether with family, friends or on a date you'll love skating in the heart of Downtown Knoxville in Market Square! Join us at Holidays on Ice presented by Home Federal Bank to make memories that will last long after the holidays are over. Enjoy skating under the stars and twinkling lights while listening to music every night. The rink opens the day after Thanksgiving and will be open through January 5, 2025.

Ice rink is located in Market Square in front of the Knoxville Chamber at 17 Market Square in Downtown Knoxville. The ice rink will be closed during inclement weather, please check the Holidays on Ice Facebook page to stay updated.

From dusk to 10 p.m. nightly Nov. 25-Jan. 1, thousands of holiday lights will twinkle along Campbell Station Road as part of Light the Park. The fun begins with Countdown to Light the Park from 5:30-7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 25. Stick around to see Santa flip the big switch, illuminating thousands of holiday lights! Live entertainment, crafts and refreshments will precede this joyous occasion.

A new addition to this year’s event is a 53’ by 33’ synthetic ice rink that will operate from Nov. 22 to Jan. 4 at Mayor Ralph McGill Plaza!

Children can get their wish lists directly to Santa by using the giant mailbox at Founders Park. Letters must be mailed by Monday, Dec. 16. Be sure to include a return address—you may get a response from the big man himself!
