Artsclamation! is an annual fine art sale benefiting the behavioral health services of Peninsula, a member of Covenant Health and East Tennessee's leader for effective, innovative and caring psychiatric services. This year's sale will be Friday, October 25, and Saturday, October 26, at Rothchild Catering & Conference Center, 8807 Kingston Pike.

Join us for a guided tour through the woods as we tell strange stories of local and regional folklore, monsters, and frightening tales that have haunted the dreams of those in the past. From the Wampus Cat to the Boo Hag, these tales have been passed down for generations and have preserved distinct cultural traditions. Explore the monsters and stories that frightened men, women, and children alike in an era before television. Come visit us and join the ranks of the terrified!

Dates: Friday, Oct. 25th & Saturday, Oct. 26th.
Gates open at 6 pm, and tours start at 6:30 pm.
General Admission: $10.00
Member Price: $8.00

The tours will travel along our site's rugged wooded hiking trails. so bring boots or good shoes to walk in! All ages are welcome however the trails are quite rugged and may not be appropriate for some. Each tour will last around an hour as we trek over a mile in the dark led by candlelight and flashlights.

The University of Tennessee Press is proud to host the Book Jacket Journal Show, exhibiting the best in Book design, jackets, and journals from publishers in the Association of University Presses Tuesday, October 22, 10AM-4PM in the lobby of the Art & Architecture Building, 1715 Volunteer Blvd.

The exhibit can also be viewed at the Press's offices from October 23 to November 1, 600 Henley Street, 110 Conference Center Bldg.

Trick or Treat with the Stalactites & Stalagmites!
Bring your little trick or treaters in their favorite costumes and bring their bags or buckets to collect treats along the cave path at Historic Cherokee Caverns! Walk among the stalactites and stalagmites and enjoy the world's only underground vortex tunnel! There are fun surprises around every corner!

Cherokee Caverns is decked out in purple and orange lights and family friendly Halloween decorations! There will be food trucks and vendor booths for fun shopping and even more treats for the kids!

Come and join the spirits for a tour of Downtown Knoxville’s scariest landmarks. The tours, which last approximately two hours each, will visit the sites of some of Knoxville’s best-kept secrets. The tour will be about one and a half miles in length. All tours begin and end at James White’s Fort located at the intersection of Hill Avenue and Hall of Fame Drive. Ample free parking is available for tour participants at the Fort.

Tours are given October 17, 18, 22, 24, 28, 29, & 30th 7-9PM. Please plan to arrive between 6:30-6: 45 pm for check-in. Each tour will end with a marshmallow roast around the fires at the Fort.

Admission for Adults 16 and over will be $10.00 and $6.00 for children ages 6–15.

Reservations are requested for large groups of 12 or more and may be made by calling the Fort at (865) 525–6514.

BOO! at the Zoo presented by U.S. Cellular® begins this weekend! Knoxville’s favorite Halloween event features 12 nights of safe and not-too-scary fun scheduled over three weekends; Friday through Sunday, Oct. 11-13 and Thursday through Sunday, Oct. 17-20 and Oct. 24-27, from 5:30-8:00 p.m. each evening.
