The Outpost Outdoor Concerts
Category: Music
The Outpost is back! The beloved Knoxville pop-up music venue has found permanent residence downtown
808 State Street near the First Horizon Building
The venue’s doors won’t officially open until 2022, but we wanted to celebrate the return the only way we know how. That’s why this fall we are hosting a seven-week concert series outside the new venue space.
Mark your calendars for every Friday from September 10th to October 22nd. Come and enjoy some great live music from incredible touring bands and local favorites, food trucks, vendors, artwork, and more. You’ll get a festival experience without having to pay festival prices. You can buy tickets to individual shows, OR you can grab a discounted season pass and come on out every Friday. Season passes are limited so be sure to purchase early.

COLONY HOUSE
BACK BEFORE YOU KNOW IT TOUR with FLEURIE
Friday, Sept 10
Tennessee's Colony House brings their uplifting guitar-based rock back to The Mill & Mine for one of our first full capacity shows in 2021! Colony House quietly steamrolled into the mainstream on their 2014 full-length critically-acclaimed debut, When I Was Younger. After nearly two years of solid touring, the band began recording their third studio, Leave What’s Lost Behind. It incorporates a storied family history going back generations mixed with folklore surrounding a runaway to create an album worthy of being a classic novel. It's dynamic and exciting, and we can't way to see them this fall!
The Mill & Mine, 227 W. Depot Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37917. Tickets/information: http://themillandmine.com
2nd Fridays
Category: Festivals, special events and Free event
This is a laid back, monthly event for those in Knoxville who would like to meet and get to know people that are making an impact on a business, civic, political and creative level.
We have a monthly meet-up/event that moves to a new location each time. We usually meet at local restaurants/eateries/breweries/bars (not chains) and emphasize the downtown/east Knox/south Knox/north Knox areas. As the event has gained popularity, other small businesses (bank, architect, I.T. company, etc.) have asked to be a host. And as the name implies…we always meet on the 2nd Friday of the month!
Stay tuned for the new website and social media!
