Alvin Garrett is a gifted vocalist, bassist, producer, and Grammy-nominated songwriter. On top of his own accomplishments in the music industry, you might also know him as the music director for season two American Idol champion, Ruben Studdard.

Garrett’s masterful songwriting, captivating smile, and spine-tingling voice are reminiscent of soul music legends, Sam Cooke and Al Green.

When asked to describe the genre of music he creates, Alvin says, “I am a pioneer of Inspirational Soul Music.” This Alabama-born-and-raised preacher’s son has woven over twenty years of diverse experience in the entertainment industry with the common thread of hope and inspiration.
