Roane State: RSCC Music Department Presents - Show Tunes

Celebration Singers sing medleys from Cole Porter and Stephen Sondheim and other Broadway selections. Concert Choir sings TV Time, a medley of classic television themes and Glee, a medley of hits from season one of the popular television series. They are joined by the Roane State High School Honor Choir and dancers from the Arts in Motion dance studios. Roane State Theatre, Harriman. (Suggested $10 donation at door)

UT School of Art: Tennessee Senior Graphic Design Exhibition - “Thirteen Degreesâ€

The Arts & Culture Alliance proudly hosts a new exhibition by the University of Tennessee Senior Graphic Design Exhibition entitled “Thirteen Degrees†opening at the Emporium Center. Displays will consist of the body of work created during students' four-year study as well as their Senior Thesis projects.
The Senior Show is a great opportunity for students to showcase their work and receive exposure prior to graduation and starting their professional careers.
"Thirteen Degrees†will be displayed in the Emporium Center, 100 S. Gay Street, April 29-30, 2011. Gallery hours are Friday, April 29, 6:00-9:00 PM and Saturday, April 30, 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Local artists are creating, re-purposing, and embellishing home furnishings to create one-of-a-kind works of art. These premier creations will be available for purchase at a live and silent auction. This annual charity event benefits Mighty Mud's neighbor, the Cancer Support Community of East Tennessee. Art from over 55 local artists including some of our studio artists and teachers will be auctioned off to benefit their programs.
