The Ewing Gallery of Art and Architecture: MFA Thesis Exhibition
Category: Exhibitions, visual art
UT Gallery of Art and Architecture presents the MFA thesis exhibitions of Eleanor Aldrich, Leslie Grossman and Chadwick Williams from March 30 - April 6, 2012. There will be an opening reception on Sunday April 1, 2012, 3pm-6pm.
In partial fulfillment of their graduation requirements, students pursuing the Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree are required to mount a solo exhibition of work, and to defend their work during an oral examination in front of a faculty committee. Due to the number of graduate students enrolled in the UT Department of Art, these exhibitions generally take the form of small groups of students presenting concurrent solo exhibitions in the gallery space.

Clarence Brown Theatre: Dead Man's Cell Phone
Category: Theatre
By Sarah Ruhl; at the Lab Theatre. A cell phone rings in a quiet café, without the owner around to answer. A woman at the next table impulsively answers it. So begins Dead Man's Cell Phone, an odyssey of a woman forced to confront her own moral assumptions, and her own need for human connection in a technological world.

CTK has incorporated an academy approach to our popular classes in creative dramatics, allowing us to offer a broader scope of curriculum, provide more
individualized instruction with smaller classes, and involve as many creative children as possible.
Classes are structured into 3 levels of activity, with each level being a pre-requisite to the following level.
Each class meets for a 6-week term. The cost of the 6-week term is $180. 50% of the term fee is due upon registration, wth the balance due on the first day of class.
All classes now take place at our classroom space at 15 EMORY PLACE.
Pre-registration is REQUIRED for all classes. To begin the registration process, e-mail Caroline King at caroline@childrenstheatreknoxville.com . Or call her (865) 712-8626.
