Lisa Kurtz, who holds a BA and MA in Ceramics from the University of Louisville, will be exhibiting a collection of her recent works in clay. Her pieces, made with white stoneware clay, are a fusion of traditional forms with contemporary touches and are completely functional. Lisa is a member of several regional craft guilds.
Joe Parrott, an award-winning cityscape and landscape painter, renders his subject matter masterfully in oils in a thick, impasto style. The lights, shadows and reflections that he observes in the landscape are what inspire him to paint. His works are in many public and private collections.
