The East Tennessee Farmer’s Association (FARM) is a historic agricultural co-op with a mission to assist local farmers in retailing their produce and farm goods directly to the community. Our co-op members includes local farmers, growers, bread bakers and artisans.

Calling all plant lovers! Want to make an adorable little home for your favorite succulents? Well join us for this fun on-line class just in time for spring planting. By learning simple handbuilding techniques make a unique pot and base to give your succulents the pizzaz they deserve. Amanda will provide video demonstrations and written instructions and KAFCC will provide all materials, tools and firings needed to complete this lovely little planter! This class does require pick-up and drop off of materials and access to a computer!

Great for Kids & Adults! Keep creating with this clay animal plaque class! This cute project is for kids and adults alike! Make it a family night activity or something to do on a rainy spring day during our "safer at home" time. We'll provide you with everything you need to complete an animal of your choice, including clay, templates, and under glazes to decorate! We'll fire and glaze the plaques with a clear glaze once you return them to the studio. This class requires that you can pick-up materials from KAFCC and have access to a computer.

The capstone course is a requirement for all BFA Studio Art majors. Students take capstone in the final semester of their BFA degree. During the capstone semester students engage in a self-initiated research project to demonstrate that a graduating senior has learned and can practice the skills and concepts of a chosen concentration.

Unfortunately, due to the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the class of 2020 was unable to have public exhibitions of their work. The New Harvest Farmers’ Market is an open-air, producer-only farmers’ market located in east Knox County at New Harvest Park. Everything at the NHFM is grown or raised within a 150-mile radius of Knoxville. Products vary by the season, and include fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, eggs, honey, cut flowers, edible and ornamental plants, prepared foods, baked goods, crafts, and much more! New Harvest Park also features a splash pad and play area, walking trails, and a covered pavilion for patrons to enjoy.
