East Tennessee Bluegrass Association: Monthly Jam at Ijams

East Tennessee Bluegrass Association (ETNBA) and Ijams Nature Center are partnering to bring folks together to create music in a beautiful space! Join the fun at a community jam session for all acoustic bluegrass instruments (no harmonicas or spoons at this time) every third Sunday from 2-5 pm.
All skill levels are welcome. Jam sessions will be inside the Visitor Center during the winter months. Chairs will be set up and ready for you to enjoy the show!
Not a musician? Feel free to come out and enjoy the music! Always FREE and open to the public.

Bike Walk Knoxville: World Day of Remembrance

On behalf of Bike Walk Knoxville, you are invited to join us for World Day of Remembrance on Sunday, November 17. On World Day of Remembrance, communities across the country and around the world are organizing events to demand change that will save lives and prevent injuries. In Knoxville, the group will gather at noon in Market Square to commemorate the lives of friends, neighbors, and family members lost to road crashes. Advocates will call for safe streets and infrastructure improvements for vulnerable road users. The lights on the Henley Street Bridge will be yellow in honor of this event. We hope you will join us to remember lives lost to road crashes and call for action.
