Knoxville Entrepreneur Center: Mad, Bad, and Dangerous
Category: Classes, workshops and Free event
KEC is excited to announce Mad, Bad & Dangerous! MBD is a free community-wide, one-day event focusing on entrepreneurship that will empower women and girls to ditch expectations and start something. It is a movement, a belief, a space where women and girls discover the inspiration, power, and tools to become bold entrepreneurs!
We want women in our community to feel inspired and supported as they consider turning their ideas into real business ventures. We know women are highly qualified to make it as entrepreneurs, yet they’re underrepresented in this arena. Mad, Bad, and Dangerous is designed to help women and girls see themselves as capable, confident, and bold entrepreneurs in the making.
This event will feature Keynote Speakers, Educational Workshops, a Womens’ and Girls’ Marketplace that showcases woman-owned businesses, and a Tech-Tinkering Lab featuring hands-on STEM activities. Lastly, it wouldn’t be an entrepreneurial event if there wasn’t a pitch competition! The 24Hour Generator: Girl Edition is a business pitch competition for students presented by KEC and the Girl Scout Council of the Southern Appalachians.
Mad, Bad, and Dangerous will be held at the Southern Railway Station
