Like many university museums, the McClung Museum has been gifted a wide variety of art since it opened its doors fifty years ago. From Matisse to East Tennensee artists, and from nineteenth century society portraits to twentieth century abstract art, these approximately 50 paintings, sculptures, and works on paper reflect collector’s tastes, and how history has shaped culture and art over time.
The McClung Museum is open to the public and admission is free.

The McClung Museum is located at 1327 Circle Park Drive on the UT campus.
Monday through Saturday: 9:00 a.m.­–5:00 p.m. Sunday: 1:00–5:00 p.m.

“Nikon Small World” is a traveling exhibit of 20 award winning photomicrographs featuring science subjects on the nano scale. See the unseen. AMSE Lobby.

“Clinton Engineer Works (CEW) Real Estate Maps” detail the property boundaries before acquisition by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The exhibit consists of 13 maps, one index map, and maps of segments A-K and O. An indexed listing of landowners associated with the properties is also available. AMSE Lobby.

Features artifacts from various branches of the military and numerous wars, including the Korean War, Vietnam War, World War I and II, and Desert Storm.

The Farragut Folklife Museum Committee will host a special reception on Veteran's Day - the final day of the exhibit - from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the museum. Local veterans are invited to attend to be honored, view the exhibit and enjoy light refreshments.

THE MIND’S EYE: A collection of fine photographs and craft native to East Tennessee. First Friday Opening Reception of newest exhibit featuring the work of Gordon Fowler (turned wood) & Pat Postma (photographs). Works available for purchase.

Free AMSE admission available to active-duty military ID holder and five immediate family members. Art in Public Places Knoxville is a monumental installation of large-scale outdoor sculptures by regionally and nationally acclaimed artists. The sculptures enliven downtown Knoxville as well as McGhee Tyson Airport.

Civil War Historical river cruises in Knoxville, Tennessee

If you would like a relaxing and entertaining weekend on the river join us aboard TRACE 1. Bring your friends and guests to share this memorable experience with you. Your crew will be the 150 year old spirit old Sam Clemmons and Miss Drusilla. Sam has operated steamboats for many years and will entertain with the local Civil War history even if he never did pick a side.
