Laurel Theater: Square Dance

Fourth Thursdays every month. This is a welcoming social dance open to people of all experience levels. No partner required and instruction provided as we go.

$10 general admission at the door, $5 for JCA members, seniors, and students. Dance at 7, doors at 6:30.

Our Place Art Organization: 6th annual Bowl for Autism

Each year, 1 in 68 children are diagnosed with Autism. Our Place Art Organization is hosting the 6th annual Bowl for Autism at Maple Hall, located at 414 S. Gay Street, on Thu Oct 24, 5-7 PM to support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our Place Art Organization is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 2013 that provides programs and services for individuals with Autism and other intellectual/developmental disorders. We are dedicated to enriching their lives through the arts. Your donation/sponsorship can directly help us support individuals in our community and make it easier for their families to locate, obtain, and use the community resources that are available to their children in the Greater Knoxville and Knox County area so that these individuals can live happy, healthy, and productive lives. https://ourplaceart.com/bowl-for-autism

• FALLing for STEAM inspired weekly programming takeover - Oct. 8-20

• Murder Mystery at Muse - Oct.18 | 7pm - 10pm | 21+
Solve clues, enjoy delicious appetizers, and sip cocktails as you uncover the culprit in this thrilling 21+ event. A night of suspense, science, and intrigue awaits!

• Family Science Fair - Oct. 26 | 9:30am - 11:30am
We invite families to work together to design a science project and create those aha! moments.

• Sensory Trick or Treat Night - Oct. 31 |5pm-7pm
In partnership with the Autism Society of East Tennessee and Artisan Street Market, we aim to provide a FREE, safe, inclusive, and sensory-friendly Halloween celebration for families.
