UT Opera Theatre: Le Nozze Di Figaro by Mozart
UT Opera Theatre’s gifted graduate and undergraduate singers in a fully-staged opera performance. The Marriage of Figaro is Mozart's only opera about Elvis. Special Guest appearances will include Elvis Presley, Jacki Onassis, and Liberace. Pre-event concert will include music by Rockabily/ Ska band, Demon Waffle. Come prepared to live, laugh, love and dance.

Embroiderer's Guild of America Exhibit

The Knoxville Chapter of the Embroiderer's Guild of America (EGA) will host an exhibit on Friday, April 20 and Saturday, April 21, 2012, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Farragut Town Hall. The Town of Farragut is a co-sponsor of the event.
The exhibit will feature techniques including beading, canvas, counted thread, surface embroidery, hardanger, pulled thread, free style and more. In addition, the exhibit will highlight the EGA's Master Craftsman Program, and EGA members will be present to answer questions.
The EGA exhibit is free and open to the public. The Farragut Town Hall is located at 11408 Municipal Center Drive, across from the Farragut Branch Post Office. For more information, contact Lauren Cox at lauren.cox@townoffarragut.org or 966-7057.
