Category: Culinary arts, food, Free event and Music

Djoukil, a French jazz swingtet formed in 2008, draws its influences from Gypsy Jazz, New Orleans Jazz, and Big Bands. The group, deeply rooted in the traditions of Django Reinhardt's "Swing Manouche," expanded its repertoire after 2017, incorporating New Orleans and Big Band styles following immersive trips to the U.S. With an enriched lineup, Djoukil continues to honor the connection between jazz and dance, offering vibrant performances that resonate with Charleston, Lindy-Hop, and Balboa dancers, inspired by legendary composers like Fats Waller, Count Basie, and Duke Ellington.

Djoukil will take the Jig & Reel stage at 9 pm on October 25. The show is 21+. No cover charge.
